An update from DENOSA Chief Negotiator, cde Khaya Sodidi, on 2014 salary increment for public service employees: ............... Good Afternoon DENOSA members. Please be informed that the PSCBC is organising a meeting sometime next week (waiting for the date) for the employer to officially table the 2014 Salary Increase. Please be reminded that this is the last year of the multi-term agreement that we signed in 2012. The agreement states that this years increase will be annual average CPI + 1%. The employer will therefore table this years annual average CPI and add the 1%. This email therefore serves to urge all members to wait for the meeting of the official announcement to avoid speculation and confusion for this years increase. Immediately after the meeting the information will be cascaded down to the members. The process of collecting mandates from members will commence shortly and it should be finalised by end of May 2014 in preparation for 2015 Salary Negotiations.
