An update on Bravery the 5mo old female kitten that was found with a wounded back leg and foot. Her foot is healing well, the swelling is down a bit and her foot has been cleaned and re-bandaged. She is much less afraid and enjoys being pet now. We are seeing some mild improvement in her leg function and since we are not seeing any sign of gangrene, we have decided to postpone the amputation to see if we will see more. The x-ray shows where the pellet is lodged close to the surface on her left leg. This will be removed next time she is put under anesthesia for surgery. We apologize for the graphic nature of the pictures, but she is actually looking much much better than before.
