An update on distressed dog near Shell Filling Station, La Flora: Flora (we have named her after the region where she has found) is in good spirits. She is extremely friendly. Yesterday she has had a first check-up with Maitri, PAWS vet, who has detected no puppies in her tummy. Our vet thinks that Flora either ate her puppies or they were stillborn. Staff at Shell Filling Station (who take care of her) have confirmed that every time she is heavily pregnant, she disappears and there are never any signs of puppies. Today when she was being sterilised, a tumour was discovered. She will need to undergo chemotherapy. Filling station guys have requested that she is returned there as they take care of her. PAWS will provide transport everytime Flora needs her chemo treatment. At least now, she is sterilised and is on road to recovery from her cancer. Will give you updates from time to time.
