An update on school: First week of semester 2 is down! The class that starts off my week, Monday at 10am: Managing Disasters and Complex Humanitarian Emergencies. This semester is going to rock. My first semester was a lot of the core classes: Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics etc. Kind of interesting and very necessary, but Im really excited to get to the core of what Im pursuing to learn here this semester. The new year brought a lot of thoughts of the future and Where do we want to be next year? and my response to that overwhelming question is a quote by Oswald Chambers. Faith never knows where it is going, but it knows and loves the One who is leading. If I get to next year not actively knowing and loving God, I will be lost no matter where we are and what job I have. Taking it one class at a time, one prayer at a time...Well get to where we are supposed to be.
