An unbridled passion to entertain, to see people happy,coupled with the ambition to reach the top of the DJay stakes in Africa,then take his game international, is what drives this young man, with the most heart-warming smile. From the humble beginnings of playing at house parties,then graduating to clubs,Lindsay, has grown to be a household name in Zimbabwe, very often the first choice for serious partying. The list of clubs that he has played at include Circus, Synergy, and many other clubs here and in Cape town. One of the highlights for Lindsay,was playing to the international crowd that Harares premier Arts event HIFA,attracts,this adds to his accomplishments of playing at some of the musical great names that have performed in concert in Harare,including Maxi Priest,Bkay and Kazz,Sean Kingston, and Liquid Deep. I had the pleasure of watching Lindsay in 2013, compete and win the much acclaimed Foodworld DJ Battle. Recently, Lindsay has been appointed the official DJ, for what must be one of the most talented hip hop groups to hit Zimbabwes airwaves- MMT. You can catch, MMT on You tube. The crew Serious Djays Africa is an innovative group of three Djays, Lindsaythe Dude DJ L-Roy and DJ Leon, they sometimes share a collaboration, to bring to the stage a crazy mix of sounds. Listening to LINDSAY spin his stuff,is a delightful experience as he mixes ol school with recent releases, when I asked him how, someone so young has such a deep understanding of tunes way before his time ?, he didnt hesitate to give that credit to growing up with his uncle, the renowned and respected Djay Coolie. Lindsay is a family man,with a daughter, and at his core are very strong family values and principles.
