Anambra governorship is not for boys – Ngige tells Obiano Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Senator Chris Ngige, on Tuesday accused his opponent in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Willie Obiano, of lacking the confidence needed for the race. Ngige said in a post on Facebook that Obiano had been hiding behind Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, and APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh. In the piece titled ‘Questions for my dear opponent,’ Ngige said Obiano’s refusal to wear campaign materials bearing his own face showed that the candidate was “unsure of himself.” He said that he (Ngige) appeared to be running for the November 16, 2013 election against Obiano and his ‘godfathers.’ The full text reads: “Questions for my dear opponent. Why can’t he wear his own face on his clothes? Why can’t Obi wear the candidate’s face? Does Obi hate him this much? Now my fellow candidate has decided to put on the cap of his second god father. Who am I really contesting with? Am I contesting with Peter Obi or Victor Umeh? It appears Mr. Willie is unsure of himself. He wears Obi’s clothes today and wears Umeh’s cap tomorrow. “He is not even confident enough to wear his own face. Nobody hears him say anything. He is just like a boy led by the hand by his boss Obi and his big uncle Umeh. “Folks, please tell him that Anambra governorship is not for boys. Cluelessness is not a quality that is needed in an Anambra governor. An Anambra governor does not need to be led like a moron by his boss and big uncle. Tufiakwa!
