Anarchy originally meant no ruler. It didnt mean no rules or no - TopicsExpress

Anarchy originally meant no ruler. It didnt mean no rules or no government. And, if we are to take Edward Abbeys definition: Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based on five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, and county commissioners. This means that anarcho-statism is a perfectly coherent word. It would have to signify a system of government absent executives. Such a system would have direct or consensus democracy as the final arbiter for all decisions made. It is government without politicians, judges, and police chiefs.
