Ancient Faith Today’s Host Kevin Allen to Retire Ancient Faith Radio’s CEO John Maddex announced today that Kevin Allen, host of Ancient Faith Radio’s pioneering live listener call-in program “Ancient Faith Today with Kevin Allen,” has decided to retire, effective September 1, 2014. Kevin will continue to work as a member of the Ancient Faith Ministries Board and as an Ancient Faith Radio consultant at large. Ancient Faith Today, which streams live on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, will be replaced with another live listener call-in program in the same time slot. Details will come soon. Kevin worked for Ancient Faith Radio as host of the award-winning interview program “The Illumined Heart” for four years, and for two years as the host of “Ancient Faith Today with Kevin Allen.” These programs and their downloads were among the most popular on Ancient Faith Radio, available at ancientfaith. In addition, Kevin worked with AFR doing interviews on Orthodox domestic and global affairs. These programs will continue to be offered on Ancient Faith Radio’s archives.
