And He sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for Him; But the People there DID NOT WELCOME HIM... (Luke 9:52-32) (John 1:10) (Luke 9:58,19:44, 24:31,35) (Acts 13:27) UNRECOGNIZED; COMPREHENDING THE REJECTION OF JESUS The lunacy of not welcoming the Savior of the World, the Power of the Eternal Kingdom, and the Healer of the Nations. Jesus speak to His Disciples about being UN-WELCOME; A Study from the Gospel of Luke Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.” (Luke 9:48) Whenever you go into a town and they Receive and Accept and WELCOME you, eat what is set before you; And heal the sick in it and say to them, The KINGDOM OF GOD has Come Close to you. (Luke 10:8-9) amplified ------------------------------------------------------------ OUR GREAT HIGH PRIEST WAS NOT LEFT HALF DEAD BUT FULLY CRUCIFIED In Reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, Leaving him HALF DEAD. (Luke 10:30) Jesus Replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” (Luke 9:58) (Mark 15:41) (Luke 8:3) (Rev 1:8, 22:13) --------------------------------------------------------------- The People of Jerusalem and their rulers did not Recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath. (Acts 13:27) They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, Because you Did Not Recognize the Time of God’s Coming to you.” (Luke 19:44) He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not Recognize Him. (John 1:10) 30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they Recognized Him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” 33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 and saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.” 35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was Recognized by them when he broke the bread.
