And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I . And the man said, they are departed hence, for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.(Genesis 37 vs 13,17). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.Our Focal Scripture reveals that Jacob sent Joseph to Shechem to meet his brothers, but when Joseph got there, his brothers were not available. He was sent to a destination where he was meant to find a set of people, but when he got there, he didnt find the people he was looking for. He embarked on a journey by human calaculations, and when he got to his destination, it turned out that there had been a human miscalculation.Notice that when Joseph got to Shechem, Joseph met a man who told him that his brothers were at Dothan. He met a man who directed him aright. He met a man who had new information about his old problem. He met a man who gave him relevant information that would later take him to the right destination.Friend, in this season, God will send you men on assignment that will help you in destiny. God will send you men who will give you relevant information that will take you to the next level in destiny. God will send you men who will give you fresh information that will move you forward. God will send you men whose entry into your life will take you closer to what you have been searching for.People will develop unusual interest in you in order to be of help. People will go the extra mile just to show you kindness.
