And Neither Shall They Learn War Anymore “Excuse me,” - TopicsExpress

And Neither Shall They Learn War Anymore “Excuse me,” says the man. “Yes?” says the teacher. “Am I dead?” the man asks. “What makes you say that?” replies the teacher. “Well, the surroundings here are not familiar. I have not been here before and I don’t recall how I got here. Or maybe this is a dream,” says the man. The teacher replies, “All of us exist within environments shaped by what our five senses perceive. Sometimes these environments are stable and enduring for quite a while. Other times they appear and then disappear depending on our attitude and what has captured our focus and attention.” “Yeah, right. So maybe this is purgatory? It has that kind of feel to it as if I am going up the first hill of a roller coaster that is way too wild for me to appreciate or consider fun. Answer my questions. Where am I and what is the purpose of my being here and what role do you play in all of this?” asks the man. “Step into my monastery. It is very peaceful here. Everything you will notice is in perfect balance and harmony. Here we often sit and mediate. And then we have dreams. These dreams are of entire life times. We incarnate so to speak. And then when you return we meditate some more while we review in great detail every choice you made in that life time that shaped you and made you who you are. Some choices took you forward increasing your awareness, understanding of the creative powers in life that are yours to take and freely use. And sometimes you make choices that twist and degrade your awareness and profoundly interfere in others’ freedom. “But don’t worry. I guarantee that for every student that is here you will in the end attain absolute freedom and perfect enlightenment when you finally walk out the door. Then you can go your own way and do whatever you wish with yourself.” The man says, “This sounds more like either purgatory or hell and you are alternating between demon and angel, maybe sometimes more demon. I am not sure.” “And why do you say that?” asks the teacher. “Let me put it this way. By what authority do you presume to exercise dominion and control over my personal evolution? You are clearly interfering with my freedom of choice. I mean, who asked you to mess around with others lives?,” demands the man. “Ah. I love good questions and you have just asked one. You see. You are already getting the idea of what goes on here. I can see you are going to be one of my best students. “Let me ask you—are you not in past lives and in this life too someone who aspires to lead nations?” asks the teacher. The man answers, “I won’t dispute that. I just take what is mine to take. That is what my race of beings has always done from the very beginning. And if you notice in every century there is always at least one man who tries to take over the world and sometimes he has a good shot at doing just that. I am cut from that same cloth. “Ah,” says the teacher. “Then you understand orders, commissions, authority, dominion, sovereignty, the power to command and to accomplish all that is within ones heart. My commission is to fill the earth with justice as water covers the seas. It is what is within my heart and there is no end to my inspiration, boldness, courage, daring, and will to accomplish this. “I have been so ordered by Divine Providence to take each of you great world leaders and make you my students. And as I say, I guarantee my results. When you leave my little monastery here and finally walk out the door you will possess not only absolute freedom and enlightenment. Your joy like mine will be infinite.” “Ah,” says the man, “I have a question.” “Yes,” replies the teacher. “On these little jaunts into incarnation which we repeat again and again life time after life time, can I have whatever I want? Can I do what I wish? Can I get whatever I desire?” asks the man. The teacher answers, “Another great question. You are really on a roll today. The answer is that you can have whatever you desire and take whatever you wish to take and experience whatever you wish to experience. You only need to justify that what you want is an integral part of and an essential step on your path to perfect and complete enlightenment.” “Neat,” says the man. I am so ready to get on board. I will give you a list shortly of all my requests.” “You are fast out the starting blocks,” says the teacher. “For some, being here is either heaven or hell depending on their attitude and point of view. But for you it looks like it is simply going to be not just a learning experience but also fun.” “Fun. Yes. I like that word. Life should be fun if you put yourself completely into your task and focus on what needs to get done,” replies the man.
