“And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the Lord, and prepare your hearts unto the Lord, .” 1 Samuel 7:3. The Oasis of Hope Devotional for 2day! COMING HOME! Samuel counseled d children of Israel to return home to God. If u’re a Christian who has fallen away from God, or a sinner, u’re spiritually homeless. Christ is ready to welcome u back into His fold. Beloved, life is a journey! The roads may be narrow & some may be wide, but d danger is we’re all vulnerable to getting off track, & d reality is we do get off track. When we’re off track it hinders us from reaching our destination, & if we remain off track, chances are we won’t reach that destination. Sin stalls progress, blocks paths, truncates hope, aborts dreams, & restrains d hand of God. Whether u like to admit it or not, all of us have been off track, will be off track, & may be off track right now. No matter where u have been or what u have done, God loves u. He knows that at times we’ll get off d road that He has set before us, but we have to realize when we’re off track, & need to get back. Repentance means to turn away & to sincerely strive to never commit that sin again. But u have to choose it—u need to act on it. Today, get out of d pigsty, leave it in d rearview mirror & come home. We serve a God who does not hold our sins against us. He’s merciful & when we get back on track, He welcomes us home, restores us, & celebrates our return. The Father is waiting for u. He is watching for u. Though we have sinned, He has mercy & pardon, Pardon for u & for me. He is longing for us today. Life will only make sense when u’re in His embrace. No one can make this decision for u. It’s up to u to accept or reject Him, to stay off track or to get back on track, d choice is yours. That choice will change yo life. Why should u linger & heed not His call? Will u receive God’s love for u or will u turn away? Tomorrow may be too late! “Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.” Hosea 6:1. Prayer: Dear Father, I am sorry for d sinful life I have led. Help me today to live a victorious Christian life, in Jesus name. Hav a Refreshing Wednesday! U’re God’s best! Shalom.
