And We Have Commanded man to be charitable to his parents. His mother carried him with hardship and delivered him with hardship. And the term of his carriage and his weaning amount to thirty months. Up until he reaches the age of his strength, and reaching fourty years of age, he says: Lord! Enable me to be thankful and grateful for Thy Blessings that Thou Hast Bestowed unto me, and unto my parents, and to do righteousness that is acceptable to Ye. And reform for me in my progeny.
