And after 1 phone call, were BACK to the drawing board with the college decision headache! *Grand View: Small, private school slightly more expensive, but he has a guaranteed position on their football & wrestling teams (IF he wants to wrestle again). Theyre an NAIA school (better than D2, but not as good as Div 1). *Nebraska: Huge, public school, I wont come out of as much money as I thought, but hed have to try his luck with a walk-on football tryout (and even IF he makes it, hell be a bench warmer since their starting spots are reserved for their recruits and upperclassmen). His passion is football (but he took a year off in high school so no D1 schools actively recruited him like they did for wrestling). Now were confused! Does he go to the college he fell in love at 1st sight with & give up his hopes of playing football? Or does he go where hell get to ball out (but wont enjoy the campus as much) and hope that the Nebraska coach recruits him his sophomore year? 😩😖
