And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, - TopicsExpress

And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth d words of truth & soberness. (Acts 26:24-25). When truth that runs contrary to long standing societal norms is being spoken, d tendency to be called MAD is there. Let me say this with all sincerity that d truth of d word of God cannot match with d society norms. For those who will like to preach d word of God undiluted be ready to be called MAD & dont because of that shy away from telling d biblical truth. The preaching of d gospel is foolishness to those that are perishing but unto us who are saved it is d power of God. Who should be called mad between those who are saying d truth & those who do not want to hear d truth? But d scripture tells me that fools say in their hearts that there is no God. He who win souls is wise. We are not mad brethren. It is when we deviate from d truth that we are really mad.
