And google expect us to trust their driverless car when their mapping software cannot detect the most efficient route to the highway from home. At each location I have lived in it always chooses the route that crosses the traffic. Never have I seen it choose the path to the right that means a left turn onto the main highway! Why is that? I will tell you then it has not an iota of an idea about local knowledge because it does not yet have a learning process as do we the men behind the wheel. It is but a matter of time before some class action lawyer sues the socks off google or apple or android or windows for their failure to create an efficient operating system which leads to minimisation of harm to arms on the road.
