And if you ever wanted to know why they wear military gear and roll out military grade equipment, stop and take a look at what police officers face daily. This video is graphic, but it is not the police murdering people; instead it is the police getting murdered because we live in a society too lazy to properly raise children to have respect for authority rather than just use a gun, because we have a society that is so desensitized to violence that making a conscious decision to shoot a cop comes with the same lack of thought as going and shooting up a high school. Sure, there are always some in every profession that should not be in that profession, who act inappropriately, who are reckless and careless, but when you look at the crime reports across the country, the number if felons, the type of crime, and then all you hear at the PC reports that violent crime is on the decline, it is easy to make a police officer a scapegoat, especially in a shooting involving different racial make ups between officer and the perpetrator. We have heard a lot of claims of police brutality recently, and we have seen a lot of violence by the people claiming to be victims in cities throughout the country, from Ferguson, through Oakland and currently Berkeley. So despite the claims of violence, I see violence being committed in defense of violence. I see hatred of the masses against the actions of a few, whether justified or not. But what I have not yet seen is one of the victims with no past record, no priors, and, in most cases, being the instigators of the confrontation that ends badly. Every parent, regardless of race, should teach their kids not to confront the police. Their job is not easy and whether you agree with the tactics, without their presence most of these cities would be burning from within. The reason we have authority is to protect the many from the few. But only a fool would argue with a man holding a gun, police officer or not. Whether oy like the system or not, there is a system where you do get your day in court. Unless, of course, you are dead. I have met many rude police officers. I respond politely. If I believe that I have been wrongly targeted, I exercise my right to challenge it. I have also met many polite police officers. I recognize that these are people with families, not savage monsters run amok. Watch this video and tell me you do not tell yourself that you could not do what they do, stop a car by yourself, not knowing what lies inside. Tell me you do not feel a tinge of fear, especially knowing that it will not end well. Thank you to those officers I know, and those I do not. You do a job I could never do. But we, as citizens, must raise our kids to respect authority when faced with a challenge. You can argue it later. Trust me, there are more than enough lawyers in the world willing to sue on your behalf.
