And inside the numbers something else is going on!!! Two ladies both undertake diet and training plans to lose weight: one lady does mostly cardio and a low carbs approach - the other does resistance training with a relative deficit approach (see my Cycle Diet on that) - BOTH ladies lose the same amount of scale weight over 14 weeks - exactly 25 lbs. HOWEVER - one of the ladies is losing far more lean tissue than fat weight - and because of this - as time goes on - this means her muscles are being leached of BCAAs - this sends a trigger message to the brain: Metabolic down regulation is the result. IN PLAIN terms - while both ladies are celebrating scale weight loss in the residual sense of time - one lady is likely to be able to sustain this weight loss - the other has virtually PROGRAMMED HER BODY TO REBOUND - and be more likely to put all her previous weight back on, plus more - and STILL have a sluggish metabolism to boot. Not everything you need to know is in the numbers - but inside the numbers - and sometimes it takes an expert to unravel that! RANT OVER
