“And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea...” (1 Kings 18: 44). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. While Elijah prayed for God’s intervention, he sent his servant to check if the clouds had gathered. For six times, that servant checked and there was no result; for six times, that servant made fruitless efforts. It seemed like a cycle of repeated efforts without results. When the servant went out the seventh time, the clouds had gathered. The servant stepped out as usual, and got an unusual result. The servant did the same thing he had done severally, and got a different result. Simply put, the cycle of fruitless efforts was broken.Friend, are you stuck in a cycle of efforts without results? Have you made repeated efforts in your family, marriage, career, business, academics, etc, yet you have nothing to show for it? Does it appear that you are stuck in a season of fruitless efforts?Today, hear God’s prophetic word: the season of fruitless efforts is over. The season of trying without results is over; the season of doing something and ending up with nothing is over; the season of trying again and again without success is over; the season of applying for jobs with no success is over; the season of desiring for clients and more profit without success, is over; the season of trying to make things work to no avail, is over.If you have nothing to show for your efforts, some people may not even believe that you have tried. In this season, as you make efforts, God will crown you with resounding results. The cycle of fruitless efforts is broken in your life; henceforth, you shall have resounding results for your efforts, in Jesus’ name!Pray With Me: Lord, I step out of the cycle of fruitless efforts today, in Jesus’ name!Have A Fruitful Monday And A Hugely Rewarding Week Ahead.
