“And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.” (Exodus 17: 11) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. During the battle between Israel and Amalek, it came to pass that whenever Moses’ hands were raised, Israel prevailed, and when he let down his hands, Amalek prevailed. Time revealed their winning strategy; time revealed the secret of their success. Time brought their victory closer; time worked for their good. Friend, God says, time will work for your good. Time will reveal your success; time will bring you good news, victories and testimonies; time will brighten the path of your success; time will take you to the peak of your destiny; time will turn things around for your good. As time progresses, you will make progress, and everything working against you shall be defeated. You may not have all you need right now, but God says, it is a matter of time; you may not have your own house yet, or your own car, spouse, children, job, business, opportunities, testimonies, etc, but God says, it will all happen in a matter of time. You may have suffered disappointments, embarrassments, rejections, frustration, etc but in a matter of time, things will turn around for your good. Time will sort everything out. Some people may be mocking you right now, but just tell them to give you some time; in a matter of time, tears will give way to laughter, obscurity will give way to relevance and undeniable visibility, failure will give way to success, and lack will give way to abundance. Everything against you will crumble in a matter of time. Time will not work against you. God says, as days turn to weeks and as weeks turn to months and as months turn to years, time will work for your good.
