And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it. I had a prayer and a particular thought recently, I desire that the Lord directs every step, every thought, every action, everything that concerns me; Literally, all things. I came to this conclusion reading the book of Leviticus. The priests and the Levites were directed with such detail concerning their work and all manner of living. To some this may sound restricting, to me it sounds freeing. It is much better to do everything according to the will of God. My lifes ambition is to simply be a servant; Whether it be in Santa Ana, Orange County, Wichita, or to the ends of the world. What greater position, glory, honor, and blessing is their to serve God? The Lord had specific ways of life for the Israelites. If the Lord was to dwell with them they had to live accordingly. They had to build His tabernacle to the tee and furnish it according to the pattern shown. Through Jesus our Savior we have the presence of God, so much so He lives within us through the Holy Spirit. We are to furnish all things in our life accordingly, not according to the outward but in spirit and in truth. May all things in our life reflect the heart of God. Consecration is a beautiful thing! Where does this begin? It starts and ends with Jesus. Day in and day out, only Jesus. This is not accomplished by perfect actions, its accomplished by continual worship. Continual means, Rejoice in the Lord always. Always, always, always, always, always, always, always think on Jesus! You can do this! When my heart is not right, I am still thinking on God, He will be correcting or about to correct me at the time, but nonetheless He is with me. The Lord has to have every room in our life to live this life to the fullest. I dont know what this looks like for you. All I know is I am blessed, we are blessed. Individually and collectively we are Gods creation and Gods temple, may He have it all. Praise the Lord!
