And then this one from Gaisano, also on radio: Avail big, big discounts... But then thats Gaisano and its expected of them. 3. Pull out - to withdraw from The sponsor pulls out from the event. Pull off - to act out You cant pull off that trick on me. 4. Put up with - to bear with Put up against - to contradict Put on - to pretend Idioms are expressions that have been used as proper in a language, and thus never change. The trouble with some English teachers when teaching idioms is they focus on literary idioms instead of the practical everyday expressions.
