And our fourth player from the USA is 62 Opposite Emily Brown! Shes from Baldwin City, Kansas where she attended Baldwin High School and played volleyball. She earned all-state and All-American Fab 50 honors. She was also the Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year and she led Baldwin High in kills, assists, and attack percentage. She played club for Francis Sporting Goods and after High School went on to play at the University of Kansas. She was named: - The 2004 Big 12 Preseason Freshman of the Year, - A Preseason All-Big 12 selection, and - Named to the all-tournament team in the Crimson Tide Invitational and Temple Classic. Emily became the first Kansas University player to reach the 1,000 mark in career kills, digs, and assists.
