And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name - TopicsExpress

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matt. 1:21 Jesus we are told has come to save His people from their sins. That is why this baby conceived by a virgin came, to save His people from their sins. To redeem His new Creation people from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good deeds. Titus 2:14 The essence of sin is rebellion against authority, it is lawlessness(anomia-contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness, the condition of without law, because-ignorant of it, because-of violating it.) Lawlessness is rebellion and its essence cause was pride, but its manifestation is rebellion. Lucifer rebelled against Gods orders and intended to usurp His authority and establish himself in a place he was not ordained or permitted, one-third of the angelic host followed him in this rebellion. This spirit of lawlessness and rebellion is what entered man when Adam listened and obeyed his voice. Jesus came to redeem and purify us from rebellion and lawlessness by purifying us from this iniquity. The Holy Spirits assignment is to bring us to repentance and deliverance from every vestige of it. This spirit of lawlessness and rebellion is what Jesus came to redeem and purify us from. The Holy Spirits assignment is to bring us to repentance and deliverance from every vestige of it. He uses the authority of parents, teachers, employers, police, pastors and other leaders, and many other ways to manifest and force us to deal with this iniquity. One of the strongest indictments found in scripture is here in the end of the book of Judges. Israel had been disobedient to the commands of God and were living in a roller coaster ride of bondage and deliverance for over 400 years. In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes. Judges 21:25 They had rejected Gods authority and wanted to do whatever pleased themselves. Because they had no king, they did whatever they wanted to do. We have been given a King, His name is Jesus Christ, and the only way to freedom, deliverance and honor is to hear and obey His voice. There is no other way to be saved from our sins. Is there still rebellion in our hearts? If so He came to set us free, and whoever continues in His Word shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free. Selah!!
