And so, Eau Claire, as we brush ourselves off from the storm that kept us from our sleep, we reflect on the storms happening metaphorically in our lives. Are they minor rain showers, rejuvenating us and making our sunny days that much better? Are they severe storm watches, bringing in rough weather we always manage to handle? Or are they raging typhoons, rattling the windows of our soul and shaking the foundations of our being? No matter what storm is in our lives, though, all we can do is eagerly await the moment when the all- clear is given, when we emerge from our shelters, and face with relief the bright, warm weather that is our life.
