And so it begins. I spent Christmas Day at home on the couch feeling extremely cruddy. Fever broke yesterday afternoon which was a relief, but lots of coughing, drainage, and junk to clear out of my lungs....again. Despite this little set back, I remain determined to begin cleaning out the house, get the old carpeting ripped out of Dawsons room, haul out an unused bed, and finish up the laundry room so cupboards can be installed. I spend a lot of time in my laundry room; I want it to look nice! Removing at least one full van load of stuff (plus the bed) before the kids head back to school next week is a major goal. Hopefully, the Dakota Boys Ranch drop off area has plenty of room! Once I get a handle on the house, it will be time to get serious about making some changes with the horses. Enduring the stress and heart break of last years foaling and breeding season kind of broke my spirit. I still havent completely recovered from it. But I didnt want to make any big decisions until some time had passed. Well, it is finally time to take matters back in hand, regain my focus, and reorganize our horse business. Updates will be forthcoming. Apparently, New Years resolutions for 2015 are starting a little early at our farm! I wish everyone a blessed 2015! May your year be filled with joy and contentment. ☺
