If there was ever a reason that this was a bad idea is because is right here. There is nothing for the police to be proud of over the indecent in Watertown MA. The police never found the terrorist they just apprehended him after a civilian alerted them to his presence. The Watertown response was just about the most disgraceful display of civil rights violation since the Tuskegee Experiment. And these civil rights violations will prove to have done more damage to America then the actual act of terrorism that preceded it.
