And the last Throwback Thursday Throwback Tune: November 14, 1987 a day after my 17th birthday and my mom had bought me tickets to see Kiss and White Lion in Pensacola, FL. I stood in front of the left stack of amps on the stage while White Lion played. There really werent as many people there for White Lion as I thought. After they got done, Vito Bratta walked from behind the stage area, through the crowd and to an empty section of seats to the left in the second level. It was like nobody knew who he was...but me! I walked over and started talking to him while the stage crew set up Kiss stage. He was so cool! He was ticked off because his guitar had issues during a few songs. I finally asked him to autograph my ticket, which he did and as soon as he did that, it was like everyone noticed him! I shook his hand and got the hell away from the mob. But he sat there, signed everything handed to him and then walked back to the stage area to watch Kiss. Very cool and my first real encounter with a rock star. So, here they are, White Lion from 1985! Do you remember?
