And the people stood BEHOLDING. And the rulers also with them DERIDED Him, saying, “He SAVED others; let Him SAVE Himself, if He be Christ, the CHOSEN of God” (Luke 23:35)… It NEVER FAILS that as long as you’re reaching out to the LOST and trying to get them SAVED, there’s ALWAYS going to be people that when your TRIAL comes, or you find yourself SUFFERING, will only attempt to negatively ADD to your situation as opposed to ENCOURAGING you or HELPING you through it. When it comes to WITNESSING and EVANGELIZING to get LOST SOULS into the Kingdom of God and off the path to Hell and from under the BONDAGE of SIN and Satan – where people are concerned (especially those in today’s CHURCH), it’s a THANKLESS endeavor. Whereas Jesus commends us for the efforts we put forth to get as many SOULS into the Body of Christ as possible, people go out of their way to MOCK and CRITICIZE this work you do for God. Too often people expect that because you HELP others that you yourself should NEVER need HELP. But it doesn’t matter how much FAITH you have, how much ANOINTING you have, or even how BLESSED you are - for there will at some point come a time that none of those things will PREVENT you from having to endure TEMPTATION, or from going through a FIERY TRIAL. When this happens, the least thing you want to hear anyone say – especially anyone proclaiming to be Christian – is, “You’ve gone out of your way to HELP others, so if you’re a child of God, why can’t you HELP yourself?”
