And the winner is euzen! Last Weekend at the Danish Spot festival one night at the „Filuren“ was dedicated to M’era Luna. Two Danish Bands competed for a slot at this year‘s festival edition: Euzen and The Woken Trees. They were joined on stage by Machinery of Joy playing out of competition, who filled in for Of the Wand and The Moon, who’s car broke down, so they could not make it. But the jury members Stephan Thanscheidt (FKP Scorpio), Kim Holm (Recession Festival – DK) and Peter Mesnickow (The Black Cat – DK) had a hard enough time to decide on the winner as it was with just two bands competing: “It was a very hard decision and we discussed it for more than an hour before agreeing on Euzen. If we had two spots left at M’era Luna we would have put on The Woken Trees too, but its too late this close to the festival. Overall a positive night and insight into the current Danish scene!”, said Thanscheidt.
