That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. In Todays Focal Scripture,Gideon came to a Wine-Press to thresh wheat. Israel was in a season of bondage where the Midianites destroyed the increase from their farms,but Gideon was still threshing wheat; the attack of the enemy impoverished Israel,yet within the same nation,Gideon had a unique experience of having wheat when others may have had none. In a Season that was synonymous with lack and deprivation,Gideon had food. Somehow,Gideons tale wasnt altogether that of extreme losses. His case was different. Friends,hear Gods Word on this second day in November: YOUR CASE IS DIFFERENT! The negative experiences of people around you will not come to you; the failures of people ahead of you will not be your portion;the struggles of others will not be your struggle;the policies that stopped others will not stop you. Others may suffer losses but you will make gains. The challenge that crippled others will elevate you. Dont accept any report that is not in your favour. When people make negative confessions about the economy,nation,career,business etc,dont join them,God says: YOUR CASE IS DIFFERENT!
