But you can get one over there (points at ticket office 15 feet away with no queue) and we are not due to depart for 10 mins so plenty of time.... Ohhh riiiiight says daughter... Well can I just have 2 cheap day returns instead? Only if you purchase them at the ticket office over there says the conductor pointing again at the ticket office. Oh riiiiight.. No youre alright love Ill just have 2 standard returns... It will be £5.60 more than getting the ticket over there says conductor.. Yes thats fine.. Weve got the kiddie with us you see.... Not unaware of the best deal available.. Not unaware of the complexities of rail ticket pricing structures.. Just too idle and feckless to walk 30 feet to save £5.60... Stacked with benefits.. Lives in a council house and on her way to view another one because she needs an additional bedroom.... Some days I just cant wait to get to work to pay more taxes......
