And we are on our way home ;) had so much fun with family! But for those of you who have been following our Chevy Chase vacation to Wally World here is a recap of the insanity: Got lost in dark, thick fog and rain Trouble checking in-computer wouldnt accept room occupancy of 5, when i was safety checking the crib in our room I pushed down in the mattress and it fell through the bottom! Safety check fail! brought out the pack and play, boys stayed up till 4am with adrenaline rush of vacation...woke up for day 1-cloudy wet day, drove out to beach and turned around bc of time constraints, traffic, rain and all kids fell asleep; then it really starts! Hit a spare tire in the middle of sunrise highway which blew out front left tire and damaged rim, spare tire is mounted UNDER the van...had to pull out floor mats to lower it down, and cue all kids screaming, put on spare; day 2- found 1 open mechanic, and called 2 Nissan dealers-no Nissan in ALL OF NY STATE has a rim for this van in stock...will take 2 days to order FROM Tuesday...closest rims available MA,NJ,VA...Andrew went to junk yard (thanks Sharon Fera!) They hooked us up with an 05 Altima rim and cheap tire (oh ya we blew out our new snow tires...didnt get a chance to put regular ones back on before trip), when we went to have new tire ans rim put on-found a bubble in rear left side tire...must have damaged that too, junk yard closed-got used tire from a tire shop, put on second tire, lost bank card, transferred money to second bank card, second bank card declined, called bank-card put on hold bc of unusual activity...no shitt Sherlock ! We are in LI and buying car parts like they are going out of style...bank system down till 1am..then they can take hold off card...finally headed to Blue Angels with VIP passes ;)...all Jones Beach parking closed!?...traffic for 1 hours to get it...1 hour to leave, hotel system tried to check us out 2xs! (Fr and sat)...Sun night-packing up -went to do laundry, detergent machine ate my money, Mon am-checked out, went back bc we left Andrew Mustos phone in the room, leaving parking lot and asshole backing out like a speed demon ALMOST hits us, on the way home-Dylan yells, wakes up Addie, Colt has mini meltdown bc butter from buttered roll gets all over him...buttered roll on the floor...second buttered roll on the floor...everyone settles and while on the Major Deegan Expressway Colt have to pee!....no other choice than to put a diaper on him...Colt doing his pee pee dance -got a diaper on!... But of course not before I got just a little peed on. Lol! ....but since that weve hit no traffic, driving on a sunny day-must be looking up now ;) BUT cant forget we had a blast at Ciao Baby with family! Was so great to see everyone at Susan Halberts! Had a great time hanging with Sandi Fiadino McCoy and Uncle Boppy, Aunt Naomi Jill Mansberger, Allie Halbert and Dan, Tim McCoy,Ryan, Patty and Summer and was so happy to hang with Chris Musto and Laurie Tezak, and their whole crew! For Chris bday bash and the Blue Angels were so much fun for the kids at an awesome VIP tent -thanks you Laurie and Pat Tezak! And thanks Uncle Boppy for running Andrew around town to patch up the van! And thanks cousin Sue and family dor watching Addie...And in the end the kids had fun and are healthy, happy and safe which is the most important thing in the world so in Coltons words this am This was the best vacation of my life! Lol
