And we got the first video if the 2014 FurAffinity United: Monster - TopicsExpress

And we got the first video if the 2014 FurAffinity United: Monster Island fursuiters parade up within a few minutes of the parade finishing the route through our table inside the Dealers Den! It was great to see some familiar adorable fuzzy faces, and great to make some new friends (hi Yoko, you adorable pup, you!). Crazy happy to see Clementine again! You deserve all the hugs, hon. Were on day three of FA:U today, and it has been great! Profits have been VERY good in commission orders, charms, and tshirts. I can pay rent for the entire month so far, and there will be more today. I am happy to report that Bee-Hive Studios is making a name for itself here, and for a small con, this has been the best place for me to sell my art and help me pay my bills. A large portion of my sales ALWAYS come from commissions on original art of an attendees original character, be they furry, brony, fantasy, or scifi. It also helps that furs are very willing to pay what something is worth at this con for something of their own characters. Yay for being able to pay my bills! And drawing some of the most adorable characters ever (Inu Yoko. Shes by far one of my favorite suiters whos commissioned for a badge. The bounce. THE BOUNCE! She has the bounciest tail!). And, as usual, we vendors are being spoiled rotten. XP Of all of the cons Ive been this year, FAU treats the artists and vendors with the most respect and dignity. Were not second class citizens, were not told that wed dont matter as much as the fans, were fed REAL food, fresh coffee, soda, and water, free electricity and internet so that we can run our credit card swipes and look up references for customers characters or characters they want drawn without using our phone plans, and staff comes by a LOT to make sure were okay and listen to us. And the lighting in the room is great! We can ALL see! The overall atmosphere is SUPER super friendly and EVERYONE seems to be having so much fun. And if events like the false Fire Nation attack from last night happen, everyone knows how to make the most of it and have fun with (rave in the parking lot until were allowed back inside by the fire department). Im a little sad that I havent seen Bakani at all this weekend, but yeah, I totally understand having to work the day job. Several of us had to skip out on parts if the con because of that same reason. We miss you, Bakani!
