And we have to work together to create a sense of urgency, because if I know anything from labor and delivery, it’s that minutes matter and everyone deserves a chance to witness the beauty of OB.-author This was beautifully written and so true to my recent perspective on my occupation. I am blessed to work with a group of nurses that are intuitive when they need to be, super women, educators, counsellors, and friends. Honestly looking back on my 14 years at Northfield Hospital, First Touch Birth Center so many things have changed, but one thing remains the same. We are blessed by this team of health care, by the compassion, knowledge, empathy, and love for life our group has. Thank you to all of our NH&C staff, but especially to our current OB group and doctors and those who I have either worked with in the past, or have been willing to float over when we needed you! THANK YOU ALL! I consider myself so fortunate to be a part of this group! Happy New Year!
