And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.... Ephesians 6-4 Keywords: Provoke-stimulate-encourage interest or activity Wrath-vengeance or punishment as the consequence of anger Nurture-to bring up; train; educate. Admonition-to reprove or scold, especially in a mild and good-willed manner... (discipline) In other words...Fathers, do not encourge your children in ways that could train them to be punished by Gods anger...Keep them away from SIN by training, educating and to discipline them the way the Lord expects you too. We as parents are responsible for our childrens souls...where do you want your child to end up? Heaven or Hell. When you bring a child into this world your needs no longer exist. Its just the truth. The only way they learn is by watching you and who they are around. Trust me Ive made my share of mistakes and my kids are the reason i want to strive to live my life as a positive example for them. That God is real and it is important to live right and by his word. Fact is, its a whole lot harder to live right than to live wrong...because the Devil is real just as God is BUT his benefits here on earth are fake ones that only end up in destruction...they dont even compare to what God has in store for us in Heaven. Its getting serious people, time is crucial...we need to wake up and take heed! Jesus is coming. (PERIOD)
