And you know what happened to the boy who cried wolf too much.... For the 2nd week in a row, the forecasters at the weather office, have been COMPLETELY WRONG...and have somewhat needlessly... sounded alarm bells. As youve probably heard/read/seen, the forecast has changed substantially for southern Manitoba--specifically Winnipeg. There are now no watches-warnings-special weather statements issued. And the projected 10 plus cm of snow forecast for today?....its been downgraded to 2-4 cm of a rain/snow mix. Western Manitoba, specifically Parklands region, will see snow today...with some areas perhaps receiving up to 20 cms. I guess the good news is......although temperatures will stay well below normal for the next several days....there will be no big white dump !!!
