Andrae Crouch passed away today. Amazing songwriter and singer...I remember singing this one at the first church I attended. I got the random privilege of meeting him years ago. He came to a hospital where a dear friend of mines baby was struggling for her life in order to pray for her. Coincidentally, today is the 59th anniversary of Jim Elliots death. Weeks before his martyr death, Elliot wrote, he is no fool who lets go of what he cannot keep, in order to gain what he cannot lose. Today, Andrae gained what he will never lose, as he has now gone to see his King. Thanks for the music, Andrae, see you soon and very soon!!!
