Andrews Rough draft for his essay ....to cute I had to share ... The first inning was under way against the Atlanta Braves and I was the Mets. The first position I played was third base. Runner on 2nd and he ran to 3rd and I fit the ball and dove for the tag (he was out). I was batting at the bottom of the 1st I was ready to hit the ball! WACK ! I slapped it the other way and I got a single after an error. I was watching baseball when I was 5 years old if was the San Diego Padres vs the Los Angeles Dodgers in Petco Park home of the Padres. It was the top of the 1st there was a rally and I thought I wanted to play baseball like them . I asked my Dad if could sign up ?he said yes. My Dad signed me up for spring ball. I was so excited to play ball! It was a bright sunny spring day in February j was training with my Dad. I was learning how to play in the outfield, infield, and a little bit of catching and pitching and went on the field to try the techniques with fielding, catching & pitching. Next I learned how to hit . To be honest hitting looks easy but its not , so my DAd taught me a little. It was baseball season. I was the opening ceremonies my heart was beating so fast I was jumping up and down with excitement! After the ceremony I had a game to play. I was the San Diego Padres. Mag I say I had a great game ! I was 3-3 with 2 doubles and 1 single . Thats it so far.... I just am amazed how descriptive he is . Very proud of my little nerd !! #proudmomma #lovebaseball
