Andrews heart rate dipped quite low for him tonight requiring a long emerge visit. Home and finally settled and heart rate back to normal. Lets hope the need to return to emerge is not anytime soon. Amazing paediatrician..kind and sensitive (unlike the triage nurse when we first arrived..he was not nice at all 😝). The Dr had no idea why it happened really but at least we now have a plan. We are thinking it might be changes at school (staffing), pure exhaustion from using the walker more than the wheelchair, his meds or hormones (and the fact that he is not eating well isnt helping either)😞 The Drs suggestion to be admitted was not received very eagerly..(just ask anyone in central Oshawa and they will vouch for that guaranteed) so we were released with a promise to return Monday to the paeds clinic at hospital. We had to agree to monitor his status all weekend with equipment and come back if there is a change. For those that knew..thanks for your thoughts and prayers..and keep them coming as they are appreciated!
