Andrews knee surgery went well on the 22nd. He will be enjoying Christmas morning from the couch. :) The doctor removed the dead pieces of bone and cleaned out the area. Unfortunately the piece of bone lost was significantly large and he will need a bone donor to replace the missing chunk. The pain isnt nearly as great now that the fragments are gone. To be completely fixed, Andrew will need another surgery when hes able to have it done at a moments notice. Apparently he waits for an available donor and then they schedule the surgery when the bone is received. He didnt want to miss more school so this will have to wait for the summer. Theres a bit of competition going on in the house as to who will end up with the most surgeries. James leads with 11, Marisa is close behind with 9 and another scheduled this February and Andrew trails behind with 4...Sigh, it never seems to end.
