Andy BRINKWORTH went to fight in the Falklands War in 1982 against an Argentinian invasion Force. He was aboard the ship RFA Sir Galahad when it was attacked by Argentinian aircraft where he was badly injured. He lost several of his close friends that day. He returned last year in an attempt to lay some ghost to rest. For the first time in 30 years he has spoken about the horrors that war brought to him and others that were there. His compelling book, entitled 30 YEARS OF BATTLE is published by Create Space and is available through amazon.co.uk and amazon it is also available through Kindle. He tells of both graphic and humerous stories told through the eyes of soldiers that witnessed the war and battles first hand. It teaches a history lesson of the Falklands War through each battle to regain the islands from the landings in May through to the surrender in June. Accompanied by photographs that help the reader understand what it may be like in the midst of high octane battles, hand to hand combat and outnumbered by the enemy, the skill and courage needed to defeat an oppressive occupation of a British land.
