Anecdotal but here goes . Last night we hit the happy hour at Oscars Ale House in the burg . I started talking to the guy next to me and I made a comment about liberals and blaming all the snow on Global Warming . This post is the exact opposite of the Liberal lunch post the other day !! His reply was your safe here and off we went ... We started talking about money and finance and he revealed he was a financial planner . He had worked in NY for the top Banks and he said they were crooks . He moved to MD and worked for the banks here ...crooks too ...he said So he started his own planning business as a advocate for his customers and NOT a tool of the BANKS I told him I did my own planning and we discussed the process . We both agreed that the commies are coming after our REAL MONEY !!! REAL money is that which you put away ...Social Security is money taken out of our checks ...401K IRA is real money . An estimated $17 TRILLION dollars of wealth in America is real saved money . I made a statement .... its all just numbers on paper and in digital accounts ....as long as some fool takes my numbers in payment ...the con continues its all rigged ! I told him that I was on the hamster wheel where they hold out that CHEESE for you to chase ...only I looked over and saw the cage door was still open ...so I went out in the kitchen and got STEAK !! to hell with the cheese !! and he agreed 100% ...So I asked him how does he plan for people knowing what he does . HE said he tells people to ENJOY THEIR MONEY !! He looks at their numbers and gives them the take home ... Realistically no one can produce more than 5 % in a return with any level of low risk for those ready to retire . Some will promise 7% or more but they take it in fees so the net result is the same 5 % . I built an income stream for my retirement . As one thing fades out another kicks in . But I dont think any of it will last . Kick open the cage door if you can and get hunkered down with a paid off house in a RED STATE > This guy asked where I was going and I told him Myrtle Beach ...he said ...NICE MOVE ...can I come with ? The BANKS are all NATIONALIZED and they are silent because they are PAID to be silent .
