Angela Weeks, SPELD SA’s Clinical Director, is retiring at the end of the year. As many of you know, Angela Weeks, who has been SPELD SA’s Clinical Director for the past 10 years, is going to retire at Christmas. Angela has been an outstanding director, she will be greatly missed by all of us and we shall be sad to say good-bye. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Angela for her dedication to SPELD SA’s work. We have come to rely on Angela’s positive and practical approach to life and the work of SPELD SA, her enthusiasm and passion for the field of learning disabilities, her support for clients, near and far, and her inspiring leadership. Angela is an expert in her field and we are indebted to her for all that she has given to SPELD SA. On behalf of the SPELD SA Council, I warmly thank Angela for all that she has so generously and unstintingly contributed in her ten years at the helm. Amanda Hocking, Treasurer of the SPELD SA Council, Angela and I are working together to appoint a Clinical Director to support the ongoing and vital work of SPELD SA.
