Angelina’s Letter I bet you thought that since I had started - TopicsExpress

Angelina’s Letter I bet you thought that since I had started school, that I had forgotten how to right. Life is so busy….even for a little girl. In case you don’t remember me, I am the little girl who was born with no brain past the brain stem, who had 0% chance of living the first 48 hours. But Abba God had another plan. When you saints stormed heaven, I not only lived but He made my deaf ears hear and my blind eyes see. It’s hard for me to totally wrap my little girl mind around all He has done. Now, I am getting ready to turn nine and start the third grade. Can you believe it? Kara is a sophomore in high school and Gavin is a freshman. My baby brother Jaden starts first grade. With all the teen agers hanging out at my house, it’s always exciting. They tell me all the latest scoop and make sure this girl is always up on the latest fashion. It hasn’t been all partying. Last December, I ended up back in the ICU at Riley again. The doctors thought this may be the time that my organs cease but once again, you prayer warriors battled for me and God heard. Jesus’ healing saved me again. While I was there getting strong again in another unit, the therapist brought me in this awesome light. It was about five feet tall and changed colors. The mirror casing around it reflected the light. It even put fish on the ceiling-it was WAY cool. Carol Rice came to see me and thought I should have one of those. I did too! She submitted the idea to the Indiana Wish Foundation. I am so excited, it came the other day! I also have colorful strings of lights that change colors and it plays music. I think the next girlie day needs to be at my house. Another cool thing is that my nana has put my story in a book form. Can you believe it? It’s called “It’s about You and Me, God”. This girl is no fool though. I fully realize that we have made this journey together, you and I. Without the Lord’s faithfulness and your prayers, there would be a whole different story to tell. The people at Tate Publishing have even been praying for me all these years and they are releasing my book in the fall. I just had to tell you thanks and I’m excited to see what Abba does with me next! Love you, bye-bye Angelina 8/1/2013 The Tease My parents, Lacey and Pat, anxiously awaited my arrival. Although I had been tucked away from the world in my mother’s belly, I was far from safe. What my family did not know was that I had taken a blow from the devil. No one knew…how could they? So when the day came for my appearance, the battle took them totally off guard. Although (I learned later, by non partial people, of course) I was one of the prettiest babies ever born, I was born without a brain past the brain stem. They called it a stroke. That is the blow from the devil I told you about. It stole the life right out of those cells. The doctors said it was inevitable, in just a few moments I would be moving to heaven. I was deaf, blind…. none of my five senses worked and in just moments, there was a 100% assurance that my vital organs would cease as well. But somehow, in the midst of all the crying, God moved….
