Angels Among Us Pet Rescue The animal hoarding situation we - TopicsExpress

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue The animal hoarding situation we posted earlier today in Rowan, North Carolina (with the deceased owner) is much worse than we expected. When our volunteer arrived on site, she found a home that was covered in trash, urine, and feces. She sobbed and had to walk out almost immediately because the stench was unbearable. We were able to pull four puppies today, as well as a flat coat retriever in early labor, but 20 dogs remain on the property. We weep for those who are left. As such, we are asking EACH AND EVERY ONE of our FB followers to please DONATE something, anything, to help us pull as many of the remaining dogs as possible before they are euthanized by animal control. If every FB fan donated $1, $3, or $5, we could make a huge dent in our effort to help rescue those who are left. We also desperately need Atlanta area fosters. To foster, submit an app at angelsrescue.org/foster. The photos speak for themselves. Newborn puppies floundering in mud; terrified pups cowering in closets engulfed in poop and urine. Its heartbreaking. The volunteer tasked with re-homing the dogs cannot entertain individual adoptions due to the volume of good (and questionable) inquiries. Rescues are the best viable option to save the remaining dogs. We are working with other rescues as I type, but we would like to send another AAUPR transport team of volunteers up to NC as soon as possible to save more lives. The dogs have only days left, if that. Animal control is prepared to euthanize on site. We have been asked to NOT publish the address because the lone volunteer trying to help these dogs simply cant manage the volume of calls, emails, and people who would show up. As such, this is a rescue-only mission. Many of you are new to AAUPR. This situation is unique. So are you. If you have watched us but not acted on what youve seen, we ask you to please lean in with us on this mission. Its enormous and we cant do it alone. Donate. Foster. Designate NC Hoarding Dogs in the purpose line of your online donation form. We are volunteer-run and all donations go directly to the care of the animals we save. Please turn tragic into magic. Right now, their future is doom or death. We need you, and so do the dogs.
