If you have ever been face to face with an animal abuser you will know their abuse doesn’t stop at just animals. This most inevitably leads to abuse to humans. I had the “opportunity” to learn this lesson fist hand. One day I was driving through Pomona and saw this dog who was destroyed. Almost no hair on her body, bloody scabs, and swollen limbs. Clearly emaciated and neglected – - possibly abused as well. So of course, like most animal activists, I pulled over and started trying to pick her up.
