Current Vacancies Internships – Animal Welfare Party EU Election Campaign Reporting to: Party Leader / Campaign Manager Animal Welfare Party is determined to make history for animals at the EU elections on May 22nd 2014. We are recruiting interns for our 2014 EU election campaign which runs from now until the end of May 2014. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a real election campaign which could have huge historic importance. Internships are full time positions based in offices in a lively creative / charity hub in East London and will run until the end of May 2014. We would like to hear from people who are committed to improving the lives of animals through the political route and who are outgoing, proactive, hard-working, able to turn their hand to many different areas of work and not afraid to ‘muck in’ with the less glamorous tasks. We would particularly like to hear from people with skills or experience in Office Management, IT, Design, Video Editing, Journalism, Social Media, Fundraising, PR and Marketing. However, if you have a skill or enthusiasm for an area not listed here that you feel could be useful to our campaign, please do get in touch. We are also looking for producer / directors, camera operators and photographers on an Ad hoc basis. The party is currently run by volunteers. Due to limited financial resources, internship roles are also unpaid. However, if the party receives any large donations, this arrangement may be reviewed. In return for your hard work and dedication you would receive references for future employers / clients, examples of work for your portfolio / showreel / webpage, our eternal gratitude and the satisfaction of knowing you have played your part in helping to change history for animals. Fundraising Manager / Major Donor Fundraiser Reports to: Party Leader, Treasurer (Committee of National Officers) We urgently require a Fundraising Manager to concentrate primarily on fundraising for our 2014 EU election campaign and with a focus on major donor fundraising. You will be happy to work from home, with occasional meetings (once or twice per month) in Central London. You will commit to working at least up until the May 2014 EU elections. A time commitment of 2 days per week or more would be ideal but we are open to discussion.
