Anime: Hanayamata Genre: Slice of Life Naru is your average teenage girl who performs averagely in all the things she does. Shes as average as you can get. Though she has fleeting dreams of achieving greater things, she believes she is too average to ever accomplish that. That all changes when she meets Hana, a transfer student from THE LAND OF THE FREE who is obsessed with the dance yosakoi. You could see this as another idol anime but its more focused on Naru coming out of her shell and discovering new things to enjoy. It makes you feel good and doki-doki and fuwa-fuwa inside.
