Anjaan Directed by Lingusamy, Music Yuvan Shankar Raja, DOP Santhosh Sivan, Editing Antony, Stunt Siva. Starring Surya, Samantha, Suri, Vidyut and other bollywood actors. Genre: Action thriller. Story of a Don in Mumbai and his activities and his enemies and his blah blah blah. Excuse me Mr.Lingusamy, Try to answer my questions.. On what criteria did you decide to film this script? And how did you convince Surya and Samantha? Well.. Peeps, I usually avoid criticizing about a movie if its worst, I mean I keep myself away. But this flick created an unwanted expectation and resulted in fit to be nothing. Other than Surya, Samantha, Suri and that Bhai no one speaks Tamil, I mean dubbing errors. Samantha appears as love interest and she is really chubby and cute. She has got lot more heights to achieve, expecting her performance in Kaththi. She is the one component to satisfy audience along with camera and stunts. Also, please read out these flaws: 1. Krishna (Raju bhai as handicap) enters the bar and the old man asks who he is as if he is not able to recognize (Bull shi*). 2. Chandru (Raju bhais frnd) asks Raju to go out for a date with Samantha. This is the first time he (Chandru) is making Raju to meet Samantha. Once Raju comes back from date he sees that Chandru is being killed. However, there is a flash back portion in sec half where all three goes for a music kacheri followed by road sequence. A biggest flaw. There are many more flaws and boring sequences in this flick, please watch in theatres if you are so eager. Plus: Stunt, Cinematography and yes Samantha. Minus: So many. There is a dialogue thats been punched by Surya quite often Nee saaganum na adha naan than mudivu pannanum, naan saaganum na adhayum naan than mudivu pannanum. Dear Lingusamay, Neenga padam edukanum na neenga mudivu pannalam, aana andha padatha kaasu koduthu paathu oda vaikkanumna adha naanga than mudivu pannanum. Please develop your screenplay efficiency in your next flick, if not, then this is the end of your era. Period. Rating: ** (2 Stars)
